In an area where history and nature are within reach, the best way to experience them is through refreshing outdoors activities such as riding, trekking or cycling. Long horse trips immersed in the Montefeltro forests and amazing bicycle or walking paths. Enchanting are for examples the routes towards the mountains, Carpegna, Petrano or Nerone, without forgetting Mount San Bartolo in Pesaro, with a spectacular view of the sea.

Outdoors activities

The view of marvellous landscapes and the excitement of many paths, also used for stages of the Giro d’Italia, will be an unforgettable experience. For the more intrepid ones also plenty of cross-country paths. Mountain bike lovers may venture into the Monte delle Cesane, certainly a must for those who want to test their passion and ability.

A guide, that will lead you to the best paths of the area, also night routes during the summer period, will be at disposal upon request. The Appenines are also a pleasant goal for bikers. Many are the bikers crossing the area to reach the Furlo gorge, Bocca Trabaria and Bocca Serriola or headed towards Pesaro, on the San Bartolo mountain, up to Romagna.

The Marche territory is incredibly evocative, remarkable also the many natural parks close to the Farm Holidays:

During the year plenty of events take place in Urbino and its outskirts: Bio Salus, Duke’s Festival, kite Festivel, Straducale (Urbino), open cellars event, bikers gathering, truffel and chestnut festival, beer festival, history reenactments in the neighbouring cities (such as Fermignano, Acqualagna, Sant’Angelo in Vado Piobbico, Gradara, Pesaro) that will make you rediscover the passion for culture, fun and flavours tied to the territory’s traditions.
